‘Transforming Australia’s Higher Education’
In July 2008 AIM Overseas lodged a submission with the Bradley Review calling for the removal of the OS-Help loan fee as a way to support Australian outbound student mobility.
This recommendation was adopted in the Bradley Review and AIM Overseas led a national campaign to lobby for the adoption of the recommendation by the Government.
The 2009 Federal budget abolishes the OS Help loan fee from 1 January 2010.
AIM Overseas is enormously proud to have achieved this with the strong support of the Australian universities. Congratulations to everyone, institutions and individuals alike, who made their voice heard as part of the campaign.
