Can I receive credit for my overseas intensive course?
AIM Overseas works closely with many Australian universities and when you apply for a program AIM Overseas is able to provide you advice and support in seeking credit in Australia for your overseas program. Many of our students obtain credit towards their Australian degree, or other qualification, for the program they take overseas. 
The possibility of getting credit towards a university degree varies depending on a student’s personal circumstances, the program they select and their degree. Contact AIM Overseas to discuss your personal case. 

How do I fund my overseas studies?
You might be eligible for a travel grant from your institution’s international office. 
You might be eligible for OS HELP. It is a government loan scheme to assist eligible undergraduate students undertake some of their course of study overseas. You can borrow up to $5410 towards an international study experience and pay it back later as part of your HECS. Visit the OS Help website for all up-to-date information.

How do I go about applying and preparing for a program?
Look at our list of overseas study programs and contact us if you’d like some help deciding what’s the right program for you. Once you’ve selected a program, fill out our online application form. We will get back to you regarding your application and we will step you through the process.
Once you’re ready to go, check http://smartraveller.gov.au  for the latest travel advice for your destination and register your travel and contact details so you can be contacted in case of an emergency.
Returning from an overseas study experience:
Join the Australian Exchange Alumni Network, it is free to join and aimed at creating a network for anyone who has studied overseas on some form of study program as part of their education.
